Enhancement of Change

Enhancement of Change

By Dr. Dorit Kedar

Mental and emotional self-sufficiency is a pre-condition to start practicing change.

Self-sufficiency is learned and practiced within the person’s living conditions and circumstances.

Thus, the learner of Change should start relating and communicating more intimately with other learners of change.

Among the learners of change communication is mostly based on the quality of the inter-relation rather than emphasis on the personalities involved.

Inter-relation requires a dynamic awareness, comprehending that everything depends on the evolving context while emphasis on the personalities involved depends on static concepts, idealizations, expectations and inhibitions.

Inter-relation cultivates exploration and wonderment while emphasis on the personalities involved refers to conventions, generalizations and futile truths.

Inter-relation occurs in the dynamic here and now while emphasis on personalities involved is due to a continuous reference to the known by past experience and the need to maintain the illusory known matter.

A desire to accumulate and control knowledge ends in frustration and conflicts while spreading knowledge for the sake of spreading knowledge is a means of incessantly replenishing one’s sources of creativity.

Accumulation and control of knowledge fathers hierarchy and unnecessary centralization while spreading knowledge is realized by means of flexibility, adaptation and playfulness.

Nevertheless, the spreader of knowledge is to develop a strenuous self-discipline of daily exploration and learning, cleansing of thoughts and feelings, maintenance of physical cleanliness of body and the natural habitat – all tools to self-revitalization.

The purpose of daily self-revitalization is to avoid falling into the trap of past experiences or memories channeling to more failures and expectations.

Self-revitalization fosters renewal and a focused being and doing within the process of becoming.

Being and doing within the process of becoming shuns any idiosyncratic interpretation of the present by the heightening of observation so as to act with relevance to the waves of the occurring.

One method to shun the memories, experiences and interpretations caused by the personal curriculum, is to re-connect with Nature.

Nature offers an opportunity to re-unite all senses and feel as an integral part of the great Everything, the unending cycle of life and death, the yin-yang movement of passivity and activity.

Feeling as an evanescing part of Everything helps in deciding when to progress and when to withdraw, when to initiate and when to cease attempting…

The person who wishes to realize Change and walk the path of transformation will overcome his narrowing personal narrative which channels his life to known and repetitive experiences.

The effortful but replenishing Way of Change unlocks an infinite thrilling gamut of colors, forms, sounds and tactile sensation revealed to the one initiating the great journey of transfiguration.dorit1

About Dr. Dorit Kedar

Forced to continuously change nations, cultures and schooling - I had to develop a wider sense of communication, a way of thinking-feeling-behaving which stresses the common denominators. The need to adapt new landscapes and land-souls has taught instinctive means to overcome separatism, prejudices, dogmatic beliefs and suspicions. While looking for the common gathering denominators, I have also increased the ability of perception and individuation. Being constantly in estranged places has triggered psychological processes to turn the unfamiliar into familiar. As an art critic in the Israeli press, a curator, a writer - have always dealt with the otherness, the different and the infinite variety of the Existent. My Book of Peace is the result.
